Behold! The Amazing Spider-Man is returning back to whole new title “Spider-Man Egde of Time”! Scheduled to release this Fall!
Remember I mentioned that I installed Spider-Man Shattered Dimension. Alright. I manage to installed and I dnt know why it got screwed up at the tutorial where Spider-man 2099 trying to finish the tutorial, then it just hang right there and restart the windows explorer itself. =.= Guess corrupted and I got pissed as I repeated 3-4 times. Straight uninstall it and Im currently into Mafia II. X)

I never had a sort of taste liking them. All when this come to me I thought of fighting, shooting some punks, setting explosion bombs on the cars and KA BOOM! All sorts of dirty wet jobs that brings you fortune - $$$! I played The GodFather II and it’s merely the same as this just that The GodFather has some unique systems which provides skills for the FAMILY you recruit and apply them on the mission.

It somehow feels like GTA I know. But I personally felt this is much better than GTA. xp
I just started play Mafia II for 2 days, today’s the 3rd! HAHA! You steal cars using lock pin and change the plates and it’s all yours! HAHAHA! Guards you killed you can drag them and hide them from being spotted by the others.
The game starts back in 1940s. The cut scenes weren’t impressive but somewhat the texture and graphics on the human skin is what that caught my attention. SERIOUSLY NO JOKE. They are AMAZING VISUAL EXPERIENCE! We talking bout PC here, not PS3. This is why I sometimes said cant underestimate the PCs, it’s just that it’s an FOREVER investment. You know what I mean. Same graphic which the PS3 and Xbox holds, but PC… once the hardware is out-dated, sorry pal but do some upgrading!

Mafia II is loosely inspired from Mario Puzo’s “The Godfather”, the story of this game revolves around Vito, who is the son of an underprivileged immigrant. Vito is an Italian American, who is trying to make a living in the land of opportunity, the United States of America. In the quest to become rich, Vito gets consumed into the world of organized crime. Vito’s childhood had been maligned in poverty, and therefore, he is greatly influenced by the wealthy and powerful life of a gangster. The story shows the descent of Vito, who is a petty criminal along with his friend Joe, in the organized crime world. Together, Joe and Vito work to prove themselves to the Mob and try to make a reputation on the streets of an unforgiving city.
Interaction among the objects in the game are in two modes, these two modes are standard and violent, if a gamer is stealing a car, he can choose to either break the window or pick the lock, the demand of the situation defines the action of the gamer. There is complete overhaul of the checkpoint system and a map is included in the game. Also, there are some new controls included in Mafia II; these controls allow a user to hide behind objects while shooting enemies, in the older version, the player could only crouch behind generators, walls or crates. Also, there are “cut scenes”, 2K Czech has stated that the games cut scenes are created in real time by the game engines, there are no predefined cut scenes, therefore, the game is much more closer to reality.

This game is a mobster narrative; it has hand-to-hand as well as car-to-car gun battles. The game’s cinematic feel, with defined characters and storyline, makes this game highly engaging for the players. High-adrenalin shooting coupled with high-octane car chases makes this game undeniably the best Mafia title till date. It is a third-person shooting game which gives the gamers an insight into the merciless world of the Mob.
Mafia II has some great moments, but the gameplay is really of a very short duration. It has some very tedious missions, brilliant music, an authentic storyline, brilliant characterization, adrenalin-pumping action and amazing graphic. Surely, the game has loads of technical snags and lack of side missions or multi-player gaming lessens some seasoning, but all-in-all, the game is good.
Here’s some gameplay video for an impression.

It deserved a 6.5/10 rating.
